Hello, my name is Erika, and I’ve been dancing with RF Dance Center for a little over 6 years. I’ve been in the Latin dance scene since 2020 but have a background in general dance for over 10+ years. I have also learned the importance of prepping your body for different movements, focusing on flexibility and stretching, and warming up before jumping into different motions. I also have a background in gymnastics and tumbling. Dance has helped me so much physically, mentally, and emotionally, and I would love to share the love/passion that I have for it with my students.
Dance & Teaching Experience
I have been dancing for 10+ years and teaching for 5! I trained in teaching gymnastics/tumbling at Wildfire Gymnastics, taught dance/tumbling for kids/adults for RF Dance and Dance 4:13. I’ve been on all of RF Dance's training teams, including their competition teams, and have performed with Mexican grupos/ artists such as Los Tigres del Norte and Pedro Fernández.
Professional Experience
The professional dance work I’ve done includes performing at multiple ‘Los Tigres del Norte’ concerts, such as at the Honda Center, Kia Forum, and Chumash Casino, and performing with Pedro Fernández at Pechanga Casino in Temecula.
